The work we do in Social Emotional Learning
is more critical than ever.

It nurtures our youth towards personal achievement and collaboration

Yes, I will donate today!

Social emotional skills are life-long attributes that engender sustenance and peace among individuals, communities, cultures, races, and religions in our society.

Each day with your help,
we make a loving difference in our student’s lives
Can we count on your support to help us foster and sustain
Social and Emotional well-being?

In today's world, our work is more important than ever. Your donations will help us to launch our next community school program. Please donate today to help us continue successfully.

In 2024, The Meeting House will increase its impact through our SEL-CORE program, educating college and graduate students in the field of education and mental health. SEL-CORE provides supervision, training and work experience for first generation college students who serve as mentors to elementary aged school children in public schools.

Using play as the platform, SEL-CORE helps children build empathy, coping skills, self-awareness, perspective, and communication skills in local public schools. We are energized about this new model because it enhances our ability to move SEL into communities on an efficient, larger scale.

Consistent with our mission of outreach and education we continue to provide professional development to community partners as well as serve hundreds of concerned parents seeking consultation and referral advice. Our After School Program, now in its fourteenth year, is led by a diverse team of SEL practitioners who teach year-round at our renovated upper east side location. Juniors, Elementary Schoolers, and Teens gather weekly to experience the joy of fun, friendship & community,

Please Donate to help us continue on our journey — as we help others reach new heights!
