At The Meeting House we use literature as an effective and fun way to talk about social and emotional touchstones in life. Plots and characters help us brainstorm, empathize and problem solve social stories. Illustrations bring to life emotions and language is built along the way.
Below, are a handful of our favorites in the Meeting House library. These books are beautifully written, have vibrant illustrations, and teach a life lesson that help children become more socially and emotionally aware. To visit the full blog by our very own Meghan Corridan click here.
